Hello. My name is Wendy, also known as Gwen. I am a widow. I live in the beautiful northwoods of Wisconsin.
My son, R.J. has Williams Syndrome and is also on the autistic spectrum. He is considered to be moderately "retarded". To me, my son is the most successful person I know. I envy his outlook on life. He has kept me going - in his own simple way - when all the chips are down. Believe me the chips have been down many, many times. With today's economy, it will only be getting worse for those of us that live life "outside the box".
It is because of these hardships that we face we are creating Awesome Outcasts.
