What is Awesome Outcasts?

Awesome Outcasts will be a day camp for adolescent cognitively/developmentally disabled individuals.
   
Our camp will focus on having fun, of course, but at the same time to enhance what our kids need to know for daily living skills.  These will include - but not be limited to - cleaning, minor cooking skills and shopping.

A large part of our staff will be individuals who are fighting addiction.  They will need to be strong in their commitment to themselves for recovery in order to be working with us.  We will also offer work to those who need to do community services.

Another group that we will be working with is animals that are in rescue shelters.  These animals will be brought to Awesome Outcasts after careful screening so that our clients will be able to experience the joy of unconditional love given from a pet.
